Soccer Talk with Tyler Green and Simon Fudge is back for the September 4th edition - presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as they broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios.

On this episode, Tyler and Simon look back at Whitecaps FC’s 1-0 home defeat to the New York Red Bulls on Saturday afternoon. Does this latest setback spell the end of Vancouver’s hopes to make the MLS Cup Playoffs this season? With the postseason looking more unlikely as each game goes by, what changes need to be made by the Blue and White - both on and off the pitch - for 2017? All is discussed in this latest edition.

Following a costly defeat in Honduras on Friday, Canada’s hopes of reaching the final-round ‘Hexagonal’ stage of 2018 World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF hang by a thread. Needing to score goals against El Salvador at BC Place on Tuesday night and huge help from Mexico, who host the Hondurans at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City that same evening, can Benito Floro’s side pull off a soccer miracle? Tyler and Simon give their thoughts.

And what to make of the Hope Solo suspension? Our women's soccer insider, Sandra Prusina from Sportsnet.ca, will give us her thoughts.
