Soccer Talk with Tyler Green and Simon Fudge is back for the May 26th edition - presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as they broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios.

On this episode, Tyler and Simon discuss Whitecaps FC’s three game winning streak, only to be over-shadowed by a big Cascadia loss to Portland. Was the ref the problem and with injuries and absences, how should the 'Caps line up the back four versus Houston on Saturday afternoon. Simon also goes 1v1 with Whitecaps midfielder/defender Andrew Jacobson.

WFC2 continue their unbeaten run this season and Simon let's us know why he thinks they've done so well and with the Voyageurs Cup starting next week for Vancouver, how much will WFC2 players feature as the Whitecaps look to repeat as champions. 

Metrotown Physio’s Marc Rizzardo will join Tyler and Simon to discuss the latest injuries in soccer, Jozy Altidore and injuries to Euro players. 

All that, plus a Jose Mourinho to Manchester United, Rafa Benitez to Newcastle, Hull City or Sheffield Wednesday and Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid on the May 26th version of Soccer Talk!

Soccer Talk with Tyler Green and Simon Fudge is back for the May 12th edition - presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as they broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios.

 

On this episode, Tyler and Simon discuss Whitecaps FC’s two big wins at home this week, with the latest coming through the acrobatic heroics of one Blas Perez. There was disappointment from Wednesday’s win over Chicago Fire, however, as Japanese striker Masato Kudo suffered a broken jaw and will be sidelined for several weeks, at least.

 

Metrotown Physio’s Marc Rizzardo will join Tyler and Simon to discuss the severity of Kudo’s injury, as well the latest setback for Manchester City and Belgium centre back Vincent Kompany and why is it taking Christian Dean so long to recovery from his injury?

A new CONCACAF president was elected on Thursday in Mexico City, and he hails from East Vancouver! Canadian Soccer Association president Victor Montagliani will now lead the much-maligned soccer confederation into a new era, having become the first Canadian to land the role.

There’s MLS talk. Is the 2016 edition of Toronto FC side the best Reds side in their brief MLS history? How does Kai Kamara’s move from Columbus Crew to New England Revolution impact these two Eastern Conference foes?          

It’s a battle of the undefeated sides in USL this weekend, as Whitecaps FC 2 host LA Galaxy II. Tyler and Simon give their reasons to why you should make it out to watch Sunday’s contest at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium.

Soccer Talk with Tyler Green and Simon Fudge is back for the May 5th edition - presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as they broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios.
 
On this episode, Tyler and Simon discuss the Whitecaps continuing struggles and Saturday’s crucial Cascadia Cup derby encounter against MLS Cup holders Portland Timbers at BC Place. Can Carl Robinson’s side avoid the mistakes that have plagued his side this season? Is it time for the Welshman to stick with a consistent starting XI? We hear from the 'Caps head coach and youngster Sam Adekugbe, who goes 1v1 with Simon.
 
Whitecaps FC 2 have had an undefeated to its second season in USL, and with the youngest team in the league. Following Wednesday’s come-from-behind win over Tulsa Roughnecks at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium, WFC2 head coach Alan Koch gives his thoughts as to why the baby ‘Caps have hit the ground running in North America’s third tier this term.
 
Leicester City are the talk of the soccer world this week after completing the Cinderella story of being crowned English Premier League champions. The UEFA Champions League final will be an ‘all-Madrid’ affair, while Liverpool face holders Sevilla in the Europa League final later this month.
