The new MLS season is almost here and Vancouver Whitecaps FC are ready for kickoff to the 2020 campaign. Can they claim an opening day result versus Sporting Kansas City at BC Place?

Following on from this week’s Whitecaps season preview, Tyler and Simon set up what fans of the Blue and White can expect on Saturday night in a new episode of Soccer Talk. They discuss what ‘Caps head coach Marc Dos Santos will be aiming to do and what can be expected from a reinforced Sporting KC.

We also hear exclusively from new Whitecaps midfielder David Milinkovic, as Simon sits down with the Frenchman to discuss his move to MLS and his hopes for the season. We also hear from Dos Santos, who spoke to the media ahead of opening day.

The guys give their predictions for Saturday’s game and debate if a new arrival may coming soon from abroad.

Tyler and Simon return for a new episode of Soccer Talk, as they look ahead to the Blue and White's upcoming campaign. They assess Marc Dos Santos's retooled squad and predict how they will fare in a very competitive looking MLS Western Conference.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC added a centre back last weekend, but is Ranko Veselinovic what the Blue and White need in their backline, heading into the new season?

Soccer Talk returns for a new episode, as Tyler and Simon assess the 'Caps loan acquisition of the Serbian Under-21 international. Though considered a promising talent, it remains to be seen if Veselinovic will make Marc Dos Santos's side a stronger defensive unit.

With a little over two weeks until the 2020 MLS campaign begins, how will the Whitecaps line up versus the opposition? The boys take a further look at what fans should expect come February 29th at BC Place.

Tyler and Simon also assess what looks to be a challenging early season schedule for the 'Caps, while they recap the Canadian women's successful qualification to this summer's Tokyo Olympics. Can they make the podium for a third straight time?

Several new faces have arrived in the past few weeks at Vancouver Whitecaps FC, but will the new additions improve the fortunes of Marc Dos Santos’s squad in 2020?

Tyler and Simon return for a new episode of Soccer Talk, as they assess the latest arrivals to join the Blue and White and if they will make a difference after a dismal 2019 campaign.

Professional soccer is returning to the Nation’s Capital after Ottawa was announced last week as the first expansion club to join the Canadian Premier League (CPL) for 2020. Tyler and Simon assess the impact that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid may have as owners of the new CPL club and if Ottawa will be given a spot in this year’s Canadian Championship.

The guys also reflect on record-setter Christine Sinclair, who became soccer’s all-time leading international goalscorer during Olympic qualifying with the Canadian women’s national team.

These are dark days for Vancouver Whitecaps FC... the 'Caps lost in the Voyageurs Cup, losing to Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League. It put an exclamation point on the struggles the 'Caps have had all season long. 
 
In this edition of Soccer Talk, Tyler and Simon look at what has gone wrong for the blue and white this year, with fan discontent at an all-time high, has the time come for significant change at the club? If so, are their experienced people that can come in and put things back on track?
 
The guys also give their thoughts on Cavalry FC and their fine form this season, plus Simon chats one-on-one with Mason Trafford after their historic win.

The new Major League Soccer season is upon us, and for Vancouver Whitecaps FC fans, their first opportunity to see the new-look squad under head coach Marc Dos Santos is on Saturday. 

Ahead of the Blue and White’s season opener at BC Place, Tyler and Simon assess how the ‘Caps will fare by position and in the upcoming 2019 campaign. They also give their thoughts on this weekend’s opening game against Minnesota United.

The Canadian Premier League unveiled the full schedule for their inaugural 2019 campaign. The guys debate the CPL’s decision to play a two-season format - Spring and Fall - and if that will appeal to supporters.     

Plus, Simon tells us what to look out for in the world of soccer over the coming week.

Tyler Green and Simon Fudge discuss what Vancouver Whitecaps FC should do in their final two MLS games of the season and if Whitecaps FC 2 can continue their journey in the USL playoffs. With their playoff hopes at an end, Whitecaps FC have two final regular season games before looking ahead to next season in MLS. Tyler and Simon debate if head coach Carl Robinson should give certain players one final opportunity to impress him before decisions are made for 2017. 

While the first team looks to the future, WFC2 head to the American Midwest to face Swope Park Rangers in the USL Western Conference Final on Saturday night. The guys debate if Alan Koch’s side can continue their postseason campaign and make the USL Cup Final on Sunday, October 23.

Tyler Green and Simon Fudge talk Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s slim playoff chances, what to do with the roster with three MLS matches remaining, and the Whitecaps FC 2 squad in the USL playoffs. 

This September 26th edition is presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as Tyler and Simon broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios, which this week, was on location at Caffe Mangia in Vancouver!

Whitecaps FC’s hopes of making the MLS postseason are slim to none. Tyler and Simon discuss what the Blue and White should look to do in their remaining matches. There is also MLS Cup Playoff talk and who is in the picture in both the Eastern and Western Conferences.   

WFC2 embark on their inaugural postseason campaign in the USL on Friday night. The guys debate if the ‘Caps should have the strongest squad available to make a playoff run over the coming weeks.

We also hear from owner Marvin Chu on why you should make Caffe Mangia a place to visit for breakfast and lunch at 2211, Manitoba Street, in Vancouver.
