Soccer Talk with Tyler Green and Simon Fudge is back for the August 6th edition - presented by Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy, as they broadcast from the Barber and Co. studios.
On this episode, Tyler and Simon look back at Whitecaps FC’s latest defeat - a 2-0 loss at the in-form Colorado Rapids. With their hopes of making the MLS Cup Playoffs hanging in the balance, will the ‘Caps find a way to turn things around or is this season on the verge of slipping away from the Blue and White?
With the ’Caps still struggling to find form, Tyler and Simon give their thoughts as to what has contributed to the club’s difficulties in 2016, as well as their chances of making the MLS postseason.
The Rio Olympics are underway, with the men’s and women’s soccer tournaments already in full swing. The guys review a fine start by the Canadian women’s national team in Brazil. Does John Herdman’s side have what it takes to reach the podium like they did when they won bronze at London 2012?
The new English Premier League season begins next weekend, and after the unexpected events of last term, Tyler and Simon make their predictions on who will lift the title next spring. There’s also an ‘inspirational’ version of ‘Simon Says’!
